Privacy Policy

Tender is a personal compute fabric operated by Nomio. It lets people share their own computers' spare compute and lets others use that compute. This policy explains exactly what data we touch and — just as importantly — what we don't.

1. Information we collect

• Google account info (via Google Sign-In): your name, email address, and basic profile identifier. We use this solely to authenticate you and to identify your account across the web app, the desktop menu-bar app, and the phone app.
• Your fabric data: the machines you connect (hostname, hardware specs, online status, installed models, live utilization), your settings, and usage/billing counters (e.g. tokens served, balance). This is what powers your dashboard.
• Payment data: if you add credit, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we store only a record that a payment occurred and your resulting balance.
• Local storage: standard authentication tokens kept in your browser/app so you stay signed in.

2. What we deliberately do NOT collect

• The contents of your compute jobs. Inference runs locally on a participating machine, inside a sealed sandbox. The prompt and the result travel between the requester and the serving machine to fulfill the request; we do not retain or mine them.
• Your files or models. They stay on the owner's machine and never transit our servers.
• We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

3. How we use information

To authenticate you, show your machines and earnings/usage, route compute, meter and bill usage, prevent abuse, and operate and improve the service. We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing and improving these features, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers, each under their own privacy terms: Google / Firebase (sign-in and the account database), Amazon Web Services (the routing gateway and billing ledger), and Stripe (payments). We share only the minimum data needed for each to perform its function.

5. Data retention & your choices

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — including deleting your account and the machine records associated with it — by emailing us. Job contents aren't retained, so there's nothing there to delete.

6. Security

Access to account data is restricted per-account by server-enforced rules; billing balances are server-authoritative and cannot be altered by clients. Connections are encrypted in transit.

7. Children

Tender is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
